Teasha E. Votes can COUNT. Remember this for the next city election! Although I am not a resident I HAD plans to relocate there this year.... until today, when I learned that Chilliwack has gone ahead and added Chlorine to water, that was already, 1 of the Best water sources in Canada! I KNOW the downsides of Chlorine to our bodies and skin! Why are some people so closed minded UNTIL a close family member has a form of cancer? A closed mind never learns anything! I am very disappointed and to hear how the stench is so bad when showering... That in itself is WAY TOO MUCH Chlorine in the water!!! It seems some people fear Ecoli ... but wait until you are told you have a form of cancer! Start educating yourselves because if you any of you think you are exempt from a cancer.... You're WRONG! I would be so BOLD as to state that within the next 10 yrs 8 out of 10 of you WILL not maybe have a form of cancer! That is the stats! Shame on you Mayor and council persons for NOT standing up, FOR and WITH the TOWN PEOPLE and what they want! SHAME!!!! You could have but decided not to because.... ? It might take a bit more work. SHAME! ELECTIONS COUNT! and I for one.... will be watching! Signed by a NON-resident who will now remain that way! Mar 30th, 2013

Heather M. is canada really a democracy any more. we are losing our rights and the government is taking over with way too many rules. rules that are sucking the fun and enjoyment (our water) slowly out of our lives. i am totally against this and even more against the proposed 3% increase on our water bill.please lets stop this madness. Cathy H. I am very sensitive to chlorine. My skin, eyes, and stomach are all irritated by it. I can of course buy bottled water to drink but I can't buy water to shower with or wash my clothing with. Chilliwack has had wonderful water ever since
I have lived here which was staring in 1970. There have been very few boil water orders and very few people who were sickened by contaminated water but I bet there will be an enormous amount of people effected by the chlorine. Please at least take this issue to a public debate and vote.

Tyler T. I would love to know when Nestle will be issued a cease and desist order for bottling water a kilometer from my house. I live beside the pumping station, and this unasked for chlorination has adversely affected the health of everyone in my house. Why on earth would I pay my water bill for something that has given my child explosive diarrhea, my dog blood in it's stool, and my mother water blisters on her back from the shower? Mar 24th, 2013
L M. From fresh smelling, fresh tasting water to smelly, unhealthy last choice of beverage. It was a gift that has been spoiled. Give it back in it's original form, please. Mar 24th, 2013

Sandra B. Chilliwack HAD the best water I've ever tasted in my life. It now tastes absolutely horrible. Mar 21st, 2013
Samantha B. I am yet again disappointed that the voice of the people has been ignored. I DO NOT WANT CHLORINE IN MY WATER!!!! To just go ahead and do it anyway after we voiced our opinion not to is a disgrace. We pay your wages, you work for need to listen to what the people of Chilliwack are saying. Mar 20th, 2013
Angela J. I am so pissed off about this! I loved the water that we had but now you have ruined the smell, taste and quality of our water! The smell of chlorine is so strong that it affects my breathing. This is not healthy for us to consume. Anyone who wants to add chlorine to their own water is more than welcome to do so AFTER it comes out of their tap and at their own cost! Thanks for ruining our water! Mar 20th, 2013
